The Kindling Intellectual Development (KID) Program is an outgrowth of Project Food and the Riverside Free Clinic (formerly the Student Run Health Clinic) and seeks to motivate local Riverside youth to embrace many forms of knowledge and pursue their aspirations. We seek to inspire curiosity through interactive experiments, hands-on crafts, and skill-building projects. We offer a space for learning, for thinking creatively and critically, and for growth through collaboration. We have weekly sessions at the First Congregational Church of Riverside, volunteer at the Path of Life Family Emergency Shelter, and host an annual 5-day summer camp called iDiscover.
